TCI Dedicated to Safety & Service
During 2017, the owners of TCI of Alabama, LLC recognized the need for a facility in the Midwest.
A search ensued to locate a geographical area that would allow us to serve our existing customers and to grow the business by adding new customers.
Richwood, OH was chosen and, in 2018, we were able to open Trans-Cycle Industries of Ohio, LLC with the assistance of the State of Ohio, Union County and our customer base.
No business can measure success without having a great team of employees and managers to guide the operation. Our team consists of 53 employees that provide our services both in the facility and at the customer’s location.
What We Do
TCI of Ohio recycles transformers and other oil-filled electrical equipment in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Our customers include some of the largest utilities in the world, as well as private businesses and homeowners. More than 99 percent of the material we process is salvaged and cleaned for beneficial reuse.
Emissions and Discharges
Our self-contained processes produce no air emissions or wastewater discharges into local water bodies.

Through our strategic partnerships with our sister companies, we are able to provide our customers with a one-stop solution for reclamation, recycling and disposal of obsolete transformers and other oil-filled electrical equipment; transformer repair; and substation dismantling and pumping.
